health mattersInner South East Partnership in Community and Health (ISEPICH) established the Health Matters project to improve the physical health care service provision for people with a serious mental illness living in the areas of Port Phillip, Stonnington and Glen Eira. The project focussed on improving consumer outcomes in cardiovascular disease, diabetes and oral health care and was implemented within Alfred Health Department of Psychiatry and Inner South Community Health Service. It employed a range of strategies including staff training, use of routine screening and provision of primary and secondary consultations.
