Image shows Joanne Ramadge, Marg Ryan and Tracy Orr with certificateThe work of SMPCP was highlighted at the ADEA-VIC State conference in Ballarat on Saturday 17 March. Marg Ryan CDE-RN of Central Bayside Community Health Services and Tracy Orr CDE-RN of Star Health showcased the SMPCP Diabetes Pilot Project in their presentation 'Southern Melbourne Primary Care Partnership Simplifies Client Flow for Insulin Initiation'.

The presentation was so well received, Marg and Tracy were presented with the 'Best Oral Abstract Presentation Award'. Both speakers and SMPCP Project Lead, Ailsa Gregory were inundated with questions and encouraging feedback on the day. The response was so positive that there was even talk of the referral form and process being considered for adoption at both the state and national levels.

Congratulations to all involved in the pilot project and in the conference presentation.
